DuPont's Kevlar® is five times stronger than steel relative comparing to its weight. It offers exceptional cut resistance and is widely used in the automotive and appliance industry handling sharp metal sheets. Kevlar string knits can be worn as a glove or as a glove liner. Kevlar knits are cool and comfortable to wear; yet, extremely durable reducing on-the-job lacerations. The knit construction conforms to the hand for excellent dexterity and the seamless knit will not chafe or tear. In most cases, the Kevlar knits are reversible and can be worn on either hand. The Kevlar® Plus is a new generation of Kevlar® from DuPont™. It provides 18% greater cut resistance than standard Kevlar® for maximum protection.
