 PBI® (Polybenzimidazole) is one of the highest heat-resistant organic fibers available. It has a high tensile strength and resists many chemicals for superior durability. The 22-ounce mediumweight PBI/Kevlar® blend protects up to 1200° F. of intermittent handling. Inner glass cloth quilted palm patch with 3-ply insulating palm. The reversible Mitten can be worn on either hand. It has been sewn with Kevlar for extra toughness, a 14-ounce wool lining and 14” length for wrist and forearm safety. Butterfly thumb for extra wear.
