PBI® (Polybenzimidazole) is one of the highest heat-resistant organic fibers available. It has a high tensile strength and resists many chemicals for superior durability. The 22-ounce mediumweight PBI/Kevlar® blend protects up to 1200° F. of intermittent handling. The clute pattern has a 14-ounce wool lining and sewn with Kevlar® thread and a Thermonol palm patch for added strength and durability. 14” length for wrist and forearm safety. 22-ounce glass cloth cuff and additional NOMEX® ARAMID® palm patch for added protection.
