North® Frontier™ Self Container Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)

The North Frontier SCBA is designed for industrial use, including confined spaces and other IDLH environments. The Frontier has three major components: a pressure reducer, a Compact Demand Valve (CDV) and an end-of-service alarm. The CDV, the industry’s smallest regulator, delivers a high flow rate of over 500 liters per minute with very little breathing resistance. Lightweight and simple to use with a 30-minute low pressure aluminum cylinder (2216 psi). Nylon harness. Rugged case to transport SCBA. Frontier SCBA is available with either a tight fitting facepiece or a hood. The conventional elastomer facepiece has a simple four-point spider harness. The PVC hood allows users with facial hair or glasses to enter IDLH atmospheres. Both models are available in two sizes: medium/large and small. NIOSH approved. Sold by the each.
